Nurse Practitioner Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional Nurse Practitioner experience
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license eligible for practice in Texas
- Current national Nurse Practitioner certification appropriate to the role
- Ability to provide safe, effective, and compassionate patient care in an on-site healthcare setting
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and clinical documentation skills
General Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, medical histories, and physical examinations
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Diagnose and manage patient conditions within the Nurse Practitioner’s scope of practice
- Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic studies and laboratory testing
- Prescribe medications and provide patient education in accordance with applicable regulations
- Coordinate patient care and collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation
