Job Details

- Location: San Leandro, California – East Bay / Bay Area healthcare
- Start Date: 11/03/2026
- End Date: 01/30/2027
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,030 – $3,190
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
- Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time equivalent nursing experience required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred
- High-risk Labor & Delivery or obstetrics experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to laboring patients and newborns
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout the labor and delivery process
- Support patients and families with education, communication, and clinical guidance
- Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Respond effectively to changing clinical conditions in a fast-paced maternal-child environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols and hospital standards
- Contribute to a supportive team culture focused on excellent patient outcomes and safety
