• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 12 hours
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,700 – $1,820

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential or equivalent Wisconsin state licensure
• BLS certification required; ACLS experience preferred
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently while providing safe, high-quality patient care
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Comfort with ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, nebulizers, suctioning, and airway management

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient respiratory status and recommend appropriate treatment plans
• Provide intensive respiratory care and patient transport as medically prescribed
• Administer routine respiratory treatments using invasive and non-invasive ventilatory equipment
• Perform chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry, and capnography monitoring
• Assist with respiratory procedures and airway support, including tracheostomy care
• Conduct arterial punctures and monitor, record, and report test results
• Support mechanical ventilation setup, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Document treatments, assessments, patient responses, and charge information accurately
• Communicate clearly with physicians and care team members during rounds and handoff
• Perform additional respiratory care duties as assigned
