• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,000 – $1,080
• Weekend Coverage: As needed
• Holidays: As needed, including expected holiday coverage per contract
• RTO: Up to 7 days preferred

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of EMT experience required
• Travel experience required
• Active Pennsylvania EMT license or certification
• NREMT certification required
• BLS certification required from AHA or ARC
• Experience using EPIC preferred and required for this role
• Ability to work in a fast-paced EMS environment and adapt to changing patient needs
• Must be comfortable supporting patients across all age groups, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Must be able to comply with facility requirements, including reduced time off during the assignment

Responsibilities

• Respond to EMS calls and deliver care within approved scope of practice and established protocols
• Perform patient assessments, obtain vital signs, and monitor patient status during transport
• Provide basic life support interventions including CPR, AED use, airway support, and safe patient transfer
• Assist with ambulation, stretcher transport, and application of restraints when appropriate
• Support ambulance readiness by cleaning equipment, restocking supplies, and maintaining a safe environment
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC and communicate changes in condition promptly
• Follow isolation precautions, PPE procedures, and infection control standards
• Deliver compassionate, reliable care while maintaining professionalism with patients, families, and team members
