Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment in Lakeport, California

Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,650-$2,790
- Setting: Labor & Delivery / Mother-Baby / Antepartum
- Location: Lakeport, CA 95453
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Shifts Per Week: 3
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Schedule: No floating to other units required
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Active California RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM certifications
- Experience with Epic charting preferred/required
- Strong background caring for antepartum, labor, postpartum, and mother/baby patients
- Comfortable circulating for C-sections and supporting high-risk obstetric care
- Ability to provide 2 professional references from the past year
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to laboring patients, antepartum patients, and postpartum mother/baby pairs
- Circulate for C-sections and assist with high-risk deliveries
- Monitor fetal status using EFM and respond to changes in patient condition
- Support vaginal deliveries, postpartum recovery, and newborn assessments
- Perform triage, patient education, and bedside interventions as needed
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, efficient, patient-centered outcomes
- Assist with transfer coordination for high-risk OB patients and neonates when needed
