Travel Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) – Odessa, TX

- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,750-$1,840
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Schedule Notes: May consider straight 48s or a 36/48 alternating schedule
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Texas nursing license required
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Cerner experience preferred
- Willingness to float to other Med/Surg Tele units as assigned
- RTO must be provided with submission
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality patient care in a busy medical-surgical telemetry environment
- Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Assess patients, prioritize care, and support coordinated treatment plans with the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
- Float to other Med/Surg Tele units as needed to support staffing and patient flow
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in an acute care hospital setting
