Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,210-$5,590
- Location: Camden, New Jersey 08103
- Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room
- Start Date: 10/12/2026
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Schedule: 4 x 10-hour day shifts
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Call: 1 call shift per week
- Weekend Rotation: Every 3rd weekend
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of Perfusionist experience required
- Experience supporting cardiovascular surgery and cardiac procedures in the operating room
- Current and active Perfusionist licensure and/or certification as required by the state
- Strong knowledge of extracorporeal circulation equipment, heart-lung machines, and patient monitoring
- Ability to work scheduled day shifts, participate in call coverage, and rotate weekends
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Operate and manage heart-lung machines and related perfusion equipment during cardiovascular procedures
- Monitor patient physiological parameters and respond appropriately throughout surgical cases
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and surgical staff to support safe, efficient care
- Prepare, test, and maintain perfusion equipment to ensure readiness and compliance with clinical standards
- Document perfusion procedures and patient data accurately and thoroughly
- Participate in on-call coverage and weekend rotation as scheduled
- Support high-quality patient outcomes through adherence to established protocols and best practices
