Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Epic experience required
- Ability to work the scheduled overnight weekend rotation
- Meets the 50-mile radius rule
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring and postpartum patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the maternal care team to support positive patient outcomes
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
- Document patient care accurately and maintain organized records in Epic
- Support patients and families with reassurance, education, and bedside support during childbirth
