- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,220-$2,380
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of cytology experience required; 5 years preferred
- ASCP Board Certification as a Cytotechnologist/Cytologist
- Active New York State Cytotechnologist/Cytologist license
- Current proof of passing PAP PT testing for this calendar year, or proof of scheduled testing this calendar year
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to quality standards in a clinical laboratory setting
- Ability to meet onboarding and screening requirements prior to start
Responsibilities
- Examine cytology specimens with accuracy and consistency to support timely diagnostic services
- Review slides and identify findings according to established laboratory standards and protocols
- Maintain high-quality workflow in a busy hospital cytology setting
- Collaborate with pathology and laboratory team members to ensure reliable patient care support
- Document observations and results clearly while following all compliance and quality procedures
- Contribute to a professional, patient-focused laboratory environment
