Travel to Charlottesville, VA for a 13-week pediatric respiratory therapy role supporting neonates, infants, and children in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,810-$1,940
- Employment Type: Travel Healthcare Job
- Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
- Start Date: 10/12/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts (19:00 – 07:00)
- Hours: 36 hours per week; 48-hour option may be available
- Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday
- Orientation: Provided during onboarding
- Setting: Pediatric, neonatal, and critical care respiratory therapy in a hospital environment
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required
- Level IV NICU experience required
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- BLS and NRP required
- Virginia respiratory therapy license required; pending license accepted if a temporary license can be obtained before start and the candidate holds another state license
- ACCS preferred
- Ability to support care for neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
- Experience with advanced ventilator support and critical care respiratory procedures preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care across NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and acute pediatric units
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
- Perform and assist with airway management, suctioning, bronchodilator therapy, ABG interpretation, and ventilator support
- Operate specialized equipment including a Bunnell Jet Ventilator and HFOV 3100A
- Support neonatal transports and care throughout all children’s hospital units as needed
- Use strong communication, critical thinking, and adaptability in a self-scheduling environment
