Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment in Lawrence, Kansas

Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,980-$2,080
- Setting: Emergency Room / Emergency Department
- Location: Lawrence, Kansas
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Hours per Week: 36
- Start Date: Early October 2026
- Weekend Requirement: As needed
- Holiday Requirement: As needed
- Floating: As needed, but very rare
- On-Call: Not expected
- Orientation: Daytime orientation with floor training
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
- No first-time travelers
- Active Kansas RN license or Compact RN license in hand
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications in hand
- New graduates are not accepted
- Large facility experience preferred
- Ability to work nights and provide coverage as needed on weekends and holidays
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in a busy Emergency Department
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients with a wide range of acute conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to clinical protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support timely patient flow
- Respond to changing patient needs with confidence, efficiency, and strong clinical judgment
- Participate in orientation and follow unit processes to provide excellent patient care
