Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in an MS/Tele or telemetry setting
- At least 1 year of recent Epic experience required
- 2+ years of recent charge nurse experience preferred, with the ability to take charge on shift
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Recent phlebotomy experience within the last year
- Experience starting and maintaining IVs
- Accredited nursing degree through ACEN or CCNE
- Ability to work every other weekend and holidays
- Solid black scrubs required
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to cardiac telemetry patients in a 33-bed unit
- Monitor patient status, interpret telemetry rhythms, and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Support safe patient flow and adapt to float assignments as needed
- Take charge responsibilities when assigned and help coordinate unit operations
- Perform phlebotomy, start IVs, and maintain IV access as clinically indicated
- Document care accurately in Epic and maintain strong communication with the healthcare team
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a collaborative hospital environment
- Follow unit protocols, uphold professional standards, and support high-quality patient outcomes
