ICU Registered Nurse (Travel Assignment) – Lawrence, Kansas

Job Details

- Location: Lawrence, Kansas
- Start Date: 10/25/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
- Weekend Requirement: As needed
- Holiday Requirement: As needed
- Floating: May be asked to float to intermediate care, medical-surgical, post-surgical, overflow, and negative airflow units
Job Requirements
- Active Kansas RN license or compact RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications in hand
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU Registered Nurse experience in a large facility or critical care environment
- Experience in ICU and/or Med-Surg preferred
- Experience with ventilators and titration drips preferred
- New graduate nurses are not accepted for this role
- Ability to complete required onboarding items prior to start, including immunization and TB documentation
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor patient status closely and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Administer and titrate medications and drips per unit protocols
- Support ventilator management and other advanced critical care interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery
- Assist with orientation and adapt to unit workflows and assignments as needed
- Float to designated inpatient units when assigned
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safe, compassionate patient care standards
