Job Details
- Position: Cath Lab Tech / Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist
- Employment Type: Travel Healthcare Job
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 09/28/2026
- Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030 – $2,190
- Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab
- Location: Victoria, Texas
- On-Call Coverage: Every other weekend, with Friday afternoon coverage into Saturday morning
- Schedule Notes: No block scheduling; holidays may be required if on call
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience in a cardiac catheterization lab environment
- Radiologic Technologist (RAD Tech) or RCIS credential required
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required; AHA or ARC accepted
- Experience supporting interventional cardiology and procedural patient care
- Ability to work independently in a 1:1 patient ratio setting
- Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and adaptability in a travel role
Responsibilities
- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures in a high-acuity cardiac cath lab
- Prepare patients for procedures and support safe, efficient workflow throughout the day
- Maintain a sterile environment and follow established clinical protocols
- Collaborate closely with physicians and the procedural care team
- Monitor patient status and respond appropriately during procedures
- Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled, including rotating weekends
- Provide excellent patient care while adapting to the needs of a busy healthcare setting
