• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Day/evening coverage with rotating start times between 6:30 AM and 10:30 AM
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 – $2,370
• Orientation: 20 hours
• Additional Notes: Weeknight call may be required, and you may be asked to stay past your scheduled shift to complete the day’s procedures

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license; Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license accepted, including pending WI license at submission
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in endoscopy, GI, bronchoscopy, or a closely related procedural nursing setting
• Recent experience recovering sedated GI and pulmonary procedures such as ERCP, EUS, EGD, colonoscopy, and bronchoscopy
• Experience in a Level II trauma or similar high-acuity hospital environment required; Level I experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Ability to administer moderate sedation and support PACU, Phase I recovery, and Phase II recovery
• Must pass telemetry testing prior to start
• Travel RN experience required
• Must be comfortable floating as needed and working in a high-acuity procedural environment

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing GI and bronchoscopy procedures
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation while maintaining patient safety throughout the procedure
• Perform pre- and post-procedure assessments, including PACU, Phase I, and Phase II recovery care
• Use an RN-driven sedation assessment approach and manage patients within targeted sedation ranges
• Support a multidisciplinary procedural team during complex endoscopy and bronchoscopy cases
• Care for patients receiving monitored anesthesia care and general anesthesia recovery
• Maintain a calm, organized workflow in a busy unit with a daily census of 20-25 patients
• Be prepared to assist with bedside procedures in high-acuity areas when needed
• Deliver safe, efficient, patient-centered care while contributing to a strong procedural team culture
