Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- At least 1 year of recent registered nurse experience required
- BLS certification required
- Experience in med-surg, oncology, hospice, or telemetry-level patient care preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-moving healthcare environment
- Positive attitude and strong patient-centered approach
- Comfort with common oncology and med-surg equipment and workflows
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to med-surg, oncology, and hospice patients
- Support hemodynamically stable patients requiring cardiac monitoring without interventions
- Perform and assist with procedures such as wound vac changes, drain removal, IV/PICC line care, Foley insertion/removal, and NG insertion/removal
- Collaborate with clinical care coordinators, RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and unit secretaries to ensure smooth patient flow
- Monitor patients, document care accurately in Meditech, and respond to changes in condition appropriately
- Maintain a patient-focused, organized, and compassionate approach to daily care
- Float as needed to Med-Surg and Telemetry for med-surg level patients
