Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Assignment in Leonardtown, Maryland

- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night shift, 3×12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
- Patient Ratio: 1:4-6
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 – $1,770
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience
- At least 1 completed travel nurse assignment
- Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
- Experience with Cerner charting system
- Ability to care for both adult and pediatric emergency patients
- Strong triage, assessment, and critical thinking skills
- Comfort working night shifts and rotating weekend coverage
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy, high-acuity Emergency Department
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients with acute, complex, and life-threatening conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions safely and efficiently
- Support care for trauma, cardiac, neurologic, respiratory, and behavioral health presentations
- Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
- Document accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Maintain professionalism and composure while responding to rapidly changing patient conditions
