Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Current TNCC certification
- AHA Procedural Sedation Module
- Experience or strong comfort working in emergency department and med-surg settings
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing and med-surg care to diverse patient populations
- Assess, monitor, and respond to patients with acute and chronic conditions
- Support care for common diagnoses including CHF, COPD, pneumonia, UTI/AMS, post-operative recovery, and failure to thrive
- Assist with observation, swing bed, and outpatient infusion patients as needed
- Administer medications safely and maintain accurate clinical documentation in Athena EMR
- Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary care team members to promote positive patient outcomes
- Maintain a calm, organized approach in a busy rural healthcare setting
