Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room or Emergency Department nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment
- Comfort with 12-hour night shift scheduling
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the emergency department
- Perform rapid assessments, monitor patient status, and prioritize care appropriately
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, ED staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to support timely interventions
- Respond to changing patient conditions with professionalism, urgency, and clinical judgment
- Document patient care accurately and maintain high standards of patient safety
- Support a compassionate, patient-centered environment focused on quality emergency care
