CVOR Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment in Webster, Texas

Job Overview

- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Shifts per Week: Approximately 3
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 09/21/2026
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800-$1,890
- On-Call: Average 4-5 days per month, including 1 weekend per month
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- At least 1 year of CVOR, operating room, or perioperative nursing experience required
- Strong open heart surgery and vascular surgery experience required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Experience with cardiovascular OR procedures strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing support in the cardiovascular operating room
- Assist with complex procedures such as CABG, valve replacement, carotid endarterectomy, ECMO, angiogram, fistulagram, fistula creation, and lower extremity bypass
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality perioperative patient care
- Collaborate with surgeons, surgical technologists, and the OR team to support efficient case flow
- Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, accuracy, and timely communication
- Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled
- Float to the Main OR when needed
