Ultrasound Tech (Sonographer), Part-Time
Location: Clifton, NJ (on-site)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM-8:00 PM (evening shift) | 20 hours/week
Position Overview
GHR Healthcare is hiring a Part-Time Ultrasound Tech (Sonographer) for an on-site afternoon role in Clifton, NJ. This is a great fit for a Sonographer who enjoys delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging, creating a calm patient experience, and working a consistent weekday evening schedule.
What You’ll Do
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and produce high-quality images to support accurate diagnosis
- Prepare and position patients; set up equipment; acquire images, measurements, and complete post-processing
- Review orders, explain procedures, answer questions, and ensure an excellent patient experience
- Accurately document relevant patient history, symptoms, and exam details
- Support physicians during invasive ultrasound procedures (as applicable)
- Follow patient safety standards and maintain a clean, well-stocked department

Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- RDMS credential or registry-eligible in applicable ultrasound area(s) (General / OB-GYN / Vascular)
- Current BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers
Preferred:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
