Are you a skilled MRI technologist looking for a rewarding part-time role that fits your schedule? We are seeking a dedicated MRI Tech to join our dynamic team in a healthcare facility in the Montclair, NJ area. This evening shift position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in a supportive environment, helping diagnose and treat patients with precision and care.
In this role, you will perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. You’ll collaborate with medical staff, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and contribute to a safe and efficient healthcare setting. We value team players who are detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to excellence.
Compensation: $40.59 – $50.74 per hour with an expectation of ~ 20 hours per week.
Required Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Radiology program
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience
- National registration with ARRT (MRI Certification) or ARMRIT
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Knowledge of MRI safety measures, regulatory requirements, and patient care basics
- Ability to work extended hours and provide call coverage as needed
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in a hospital setting or with advanced imaging technology
- Strong communication skills and patient interaction experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Certification in MRI via ARRT or ARMRIT
- Prior experience in a healthcare environment
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work evening hours, Monday through Friday, from 4pm to 8pm
