Job Requirements
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- At least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience in a hospital or acute care setting
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Flexibility to float to the NICU as needed
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, patient-centered healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients across the hospital
- Perform respiratory assessments, monitor patient status, and deliver therapeutic interventions
- Support patients with a variety of respiratory needs in acute care and specialty units
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
- Respond to changing clinical needs with professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Float to the NICU when needed to support patient care coverage
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of care
