Travel Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) – Aurora, Colorado

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
- Charting System: Epic
- Patient Ratio: 1:4 on days, 1:5 on nights
- Orientation: 20 hours
- Weekend Coverage: As needed per unit requirements
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Colorado or a Compact RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Oncology nursing certification preferred
- Experience with Epic charting required
- Strong background in adult med-surg oncology or similar high-acuity inpatient care
- Comfortable working with flexible staffing ratios and changing unit needs
- Ability to float within scope and to like units as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult oncology patients in an inpatient setting
- Assess patient conditions, monitor changes, and respond to clinical needs in a timely manner
- Administer medications and treatments, including chemotherapy-related therapies as appropriate
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Epic
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary care team members
- Support palliative care, oncology, and medical telemetry patient populations
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and unit protocols consistently
- Float to similar units when needed to support facility operations
