• Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
• Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation / Hospital-Based Therapy
• Location: Farmington, NM 87401
• Start Date: September 1, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional early morning starts for ADLs and one Saturday per month
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,080 – $2,230
• Type: Travel healthcare assignment

Physical Therapist Job Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist license in the state of New Mexico
• At least 1 year of experience preferred in inpatient rehabilitation, acute rehab, or a similar therapy setting
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary rehab team
• Experience supporting adult rehabilitation patients with mobility, functional recovery, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation in an electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Reliable, professional, and patient-centered approach to care

Physical Therapy Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
• Provide skilled therapy interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, gait, and independence
• Support morning ADL-focused therapy sessions when needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation professionals to coordinate patient care
• Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical outcomes
• Complete documentation accurately and efficiently in accordance with facility standards
• Contribute to a positive, supportive rehabilitation environment focused on patient success
