Job Requirements
- Current RRT credential required
- At least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred/required
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a hospital environment
- Willingness to float as needed, including to the NICU
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients across the hospital
- Perform routine and specialized respiratory therapy treatments, assessments, and interventions
- Support patient care needs in acute care and specialty service areas
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes in respiratory condition
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to support positive patient outcomes
- Float to the NICU when needed and provide age-appropriate respiratory support
